People call each other names all the time. I I don't think the Oromos are especially hated by anyone. It is not just about politics either. For example people don't like the Gurage for a similar reason Jews are hated elsewhere. Even within the same tribe there is unbelievable animosity. Guji and Borena are both Oromos but they hate each other a lot. Sidama and Oromo fight all the time although they speak a similar language.
