This masterpiece is heaven. The way it builds from very soft and uncomplicated to its climax is genius! Much Respect to Maynard, Danny, Adam, and Justin!

My mom just passed from cancer, coming up on 2 years ago. Her name was Delores Marie. This song holds a special place for me, having go thru a horrible disease, and feeling Maynards heartache, literally.
If anyone has lost a loved one to a debilitating disease, I feel your pain. Our hearts will be forever heavy.

Great song, video however was a great tour of Manchester. Perhaps a little substance in the next video not just the stuff i cut out of my home movies.
The only constructive criticism I have to add is that one way you can tell a video or picture is done right, is that you don't need to add words or to take video of words to explain your thoughts.

@chrispymuffin i agree in part but in this song he actually names his mother so there leaves no doubt as to who he is singing about. That and 10,000 days is roughly 27 years. Judith Marie, his mother, suffered with cancer for nearly 7 years. Still it is a powerful song and so touching and so personal from an artist that prefers to be rather abstract and not known to sing about anything personal

@chrispymuffin But this song does mean something specific, and Maynard has already said in interviews what this song means. It's for his Mother who was paralyzed when Maynard was 11 years old, and died 10,000 days later. - Do some research before you babble.

To clarify, the name of the song according to the Disk, it's jacket and the official site is "10,000 Days (Wings Pt 2)". J.M. Keenan wanted to be sure the connection was made between the songs (even though it's hard to miss).
