@redchickenproduction Well there's going to be newer FF's with that style of gameplay. Like Final Fantasy Versus XIII as I mentioned. You should check the trailers out if you haven't already.

And of course, there's always Kingdom Hearts. Those games are perfect for those who like a JRPG without turn-based gameplay. :)

Technically thinking of it, this is basically the older style of Final Fantasy gameplay, just with auto-battle (optional), multiple command executions in one turn, and job switching during battle instead of outside of battle. You can still select abilities from the command menu, you still have to wait for the ATB to fill before your turn, in this game you can give commands to both your characters, and the Beastmaster feature isn't really anything new.

People complain too much.

@redchickenproduction Actually what you are referring to is, I believe, the gameplay in FF Dirge of Cerberus (since Advent Children is just a movie), and really, FF has always been turn-based, while some new games take a turn without turn-based like DoC and the upcoming FFVS13.

In case of jumps off of large buildings or large falls, baggy pants also act as parahute device for safe landings.

ive always preffered the old style final fantasy kind of gameplay like in advent children when playing with vincent how you dont take turns with attacking its just all free movement like ninja gaiden 2 just run around and kill shit lol but i dont mind this kind of gameplay

im just saying tho i prefered the old way of game style but meh probs just me?
