This seems to be a major architectural change to their system, and from what Matt says, will make future changes a lot easier to implement. I suspect that they may have been feeling a little daunted about the task of undertaking any meaningful semantic updates...this may make that feeling fade considerably.

What kills me is how Google accepts money from sham companies like these get-rich-quick scams we see. "Google Pays Me $5000 A Day" bull crap ads. Everyone knows those are LIES and those who dont get taken for all they have. This is supposed to be a "do no evil" company? HA! Right.
