I'm a Past Master in Alabama and I think that is a beautiful lodge.. I noticed a couple if indifferences from the norm but nonetheless something to be very proud of.
Congratulations to the Grand Lodge of Japan for their wonderful building and facilities. We wish all Lodges could have that design too. Greetings from "Platon Lodge" from Kavala in Greece. We invite you to visit our new website platonlodge.gr and give us our feedback.
1:36 can someone well informed with the ways of masonry explain why the all seeing eye pyramid is on the window and what it means to masonry? I'm not some stupid conspiracy theorist just curious
@hyprid6wolf It represents god (by whatever name you know him) watching over all. It was an often used symbol (sometimes called the Eye of Providence) during the enlightenment which was later incorporated into masonic symbolism.
I am planning on studying abroad to Japan, and I am a Rainbow Girl, seeing this I not only want to visit the Rainbow girls, but see this Lodge!! Thank you for showing it! It's beautiful!
I have been there countless times. This lodge is an amazing place. And, that was only the Blue Lodge. You should see the Red Lodge (Scottish/York Rite).
Very impressive lodge. I first saw it when I visited Tokyo Tower in '06. Back then I had no idea what it was. I would like to visit it next time I visit Tokyo. Greetings from Hap Arnold Lodge #457, Louisiana
From what I've heard from my brothers in Japan, the American and Japanese Flags are always there, one about a foot in front of the other, depending on the candidate's Nationality...
@LOG1K690 Not quite the case. The Japanese Flag is the only one displayed, except for the two Lodges which meet on U.S. Military Bases in Japan. The "a foot in front of the other" was never our practice.
Beautiful lodge. Hope to visit sometime

@hyprid6wolf the eye is the God, it means we belive GOD. You have to belive a great power(god) to be a candidate.
