@ManOnFia at all. Another example is that they say that the Prophet used the Quran to wage war against Christians and Jews. But when he put conditions onto war, he said prohibited harming any innocent people and it was mandotory to keep temples and churches in tact, for they are "places of worship." If you read the Torah, you will realize that he is actually mentioned by name in Hebrew scriptures "Mu-hem-et" pronounced "Muhammad." They failed to leave this out.
@ManOnFia Also, you will realize by reading the second verse of the Quran that it says that you are not allowed to harm anybody, even those who DO NOT share a similar faith. The only time you are allowed to fight is when they are oppressing or preventing you from worship. Most people assume that Islam was spread by the sword because it took over the Middle East and North Africa and east Asian it took 100 years, as opposed to 400 years (Christianity)

The Quran was written down but not compiled as a whole book until after the death of Muhammad PBUH when many of the people who memorized it died in a battle.There were thousands of Muslims during and after the Prophet's PHUB time who knew the quran verbatim and they were all the same. I not surprised that you are even asking- most Muslims know little about your own religious history. Early Muslims were made to memorize the Koran, and it was passed down orally. @ManOnFia at all. Another example is that they say that the Prophet used the Quran to wage war against Christians and Jews. But when he put conditions onto war, he said prohibited harming any innocent people and it was mandotory to keep temples and churches in tact, for they are "places of worship." If you read the Torah, you will realize that he is actually mentioned by name in Hebrew scriptures "Mu-hem-et" pronounced "Muhammad." They failed to leave this out.

The only time you are allowed to fight is when they are oppressing or preventing you from worship. Most people assume that Islam was spread by the sword because it took over the Middle East and North Africa and east Asian it took 100 years, as opposed to 400 years (Christianity)

So, when the Koran talks about not harming anyone, it is implicit that non-believers do not count as 'anyone.' They are 'cattle,' as our UK Muslims keep reminding us, through their loud-speakers, on our streets.
Also, you have taken out of context the 'tolerance' to other faiths bit. This was merely advice regarding taqiyya: pretended tolerance.

For example, in Saudi Arabia, women are not allowed to drive - but is that Islamic? The Quran was written down but not compiled as a whole book until after the death of Muhammad PBUH when many of the people who memorized it died in a battle.There were thousands of Muslims during and after the Prophet's PHUB time who knew the quran verbatim and they were all the same. I wasn't asking because I didn't know, I was asking to hear people's thought process. I am an educated Muslim and I know my religion.

I not surprised that you are even asking- most Muslims know little about your own religious history. Early Muslims were made to memorize the Koran, and it was passed down orally.
