@Risquevania Yeah, I think that's a big part of the problem, that so many "straight" men are so ridiculously homophobic. Like they think it's a disease they'll catch or something. In all likelihood they're probably just in denial of their own sexuality so they lash out at others because it makes them feel more "safe" in their delusions or something. I just can't wrap my head around how people think they have the right to dictate how other people live, when it's not affecting them in any way

IMO, the government shouldn't be involved in the institution of marriage, which lets face it for most is a religious ceremony with significance as such and has been for centuries. the government should just recognize any civil union for legal purposes (visitation rights, inheritance, etc), be it man+woman, man+man, or man+woman+woman.
