@romanz2000 Hi, it highly depends on your aim.. I can assure you that you will never be a principle dancer at a big company... but it is never too late to find joy in dancing ;) this sounds cliché of course, but it's true. 19 is not that old, you might have some trouble with getting your flexibility up leveled but it should be allright with some practise =) I started in november last year at 17, and my teacher is really helpful and I'm getting better every day and I just love it!!

i got some questions..when I put my leg on the bar and lift it, I feel my leg is getting too strong..as in big haha and I'm a girl :S most girls who do ballet have thin legs, what am i doing wrong?? and another thing, what's the name of the excercise the woman does at 8:39? thanks :D

work on your strength if you already have good flexibility. just try lifting your leg off the bar and holding it, progressively longer each time.

For anyone who disagrees with me regarding this ashole showing his nipples in an educational ballet video, I suggest you see how Rudlof Nuryev dressed in class. He was openly gay, BUT HE ALWAYS DRESSED APPROPRIATELY FOR CLASS EVEN WHEN HE WORE HIS BABY BLUE TIGHTS, HE BNEVER ACTED LIKE THIS. ...if thisd guy thinks this is sexy, then save it for when he is alone with his boyfriend, but not during a damn educational ballet video.

evidently it would have been different if the officials that agreed to release this video thought that exposing his chest was inappropriate. Ballet is about expression, like any dance, if you cant cope with a person expressing themselves then by all means, go back to your Rudlof Nuryev videos. He is not gay, and even if he was, it would mean nothing, his dancing is graceful and beautiful, read his Autobiography "Mao's Last Dancer". Learn a thing or two.
