  • @cuzurdumb123 i dont clean it at all. the fish waste is basically plant food

  • I love your planted tank! I have a 20 gallon planted tank too and really need to upgrade my lighting. Where did you get your new lighting?!

  • Very pretty tank! The fish are so colourfel, but your black skirts are looking a little pale (stressed), other than that i love it!!

I have the same sized tank as yours, and i am thinking i might get some of the plants you have and add them to my tank. ^^

  • Wow amazing planted tank! Is that a piece of drift wood you have in the back?

    Is that java moss?

  • Looks gooood

  • Hey first off very nice tank...ive just started on my first planted tank so far i have 3 different types of plants eco complete substrate an a piece of driftwood its a 20 gallon high so i was just wondering what kind of light would be best for my plants will be posting a new video with the new substrate within a few days thanks...

  • @mikesds1 Yup mine is a 20 gallon high too. and 2.5 watts per gallon on the lighting just down cut it. You should have at least 3-4 watts per gallon. My plants look great under the current setup.

  • @rubicundity I was just wondering where you got your light bulb at because i can only find 15w llights and what brand you have i have a stock lid so i need a 18in bulb

  • @mikesds1 The lighting that came with the tank was single fluorescent bulb 15 watt. I had to buy a a new lighting set that uses compact fluorescent. Compact fluorescent uses less energy but produces 3x more light. I have 2 strips of compact fluorescent bulbs in the current lighting system. 25 watt per bulb x 2 = 50 watt. 50/20 = 2.5 wpg

  • Hey, I really like your tank! Especially your plants looks great. Do you use CO2? Or what fertilizer do you use?

  • @TheBravo101 I do not use any CO2 or any fertilizers. But I do use a substrate called flourite. All these plants do not require a CO2 system but I do need a stronger light for this 2.5wpg is just not enough to reach down a 20 gallon high tank.

  • Very nice, it's not overcrowded.
