It's really interesting to compare European trains to North American trains. The engines and cars are completely different. Also the European freight trains are much shorter. Very good video!

Don't forget that our country is way smaller than yours: you have the space (and the long tracks) to place long cargo trains.

In our country it would almost certainly cause problems with the signalling and stuff (we have specials signals here, to prevent heavy freight trains going into tunnels, without a 'green wave' (all the signals in the tunnel are green, so the train won't have to stop: If it has to: it won't get out anymore on it's own power.
