the mermaid her potion to heal to make story short she was heal and fell in love with the spanish man for saving her life & they got married and have 8 kids in puerto rico she love her husband and her children very much but the sea kept calling for her and one day the spanish man woke up and found his wife gone and he went all over town looking for her but no one had saw her and one of his daughter was crying and told him that mommy had left and went back into the sea and never coming
asking him what wrong he told the jibara what happen when jibara saw her told the spanish man it not a woman its a mermaid at first he thought she was crazy but when the jibara told him to take a small amount of water and pour on her legs so he did and the woman wasnt a woman it was a mermaid but he didnt know what to do because he could have been rich but when the mermaid open her eyes and tear ran down her face and bag for help from the jibara and she gave
and my grandmother told me it could be true that a long time ago when the spaniard invaded puerto rico one day a spanish sailor arrive to the island btw im puerto rican anyway was alone at the beach until he saw a beautiful woman laying down on the sand bleeding to death and he was going to push her into the sea but she said in her native tongue and cause him to change his mind and he pick her up and when in the rain forest seeking the natives and there was a jibaros lucky speaking spanish
i believe it real too because mexico, puerto rico, japan, euorpe, other places talk about mermaids and these countries never really connected eachother in the ancient time if you know what i mean
i believe mermaids are real because where did all the stories come from? and if it was sailors, i believe they did see mermaids, not what people said they "actually" saw
