Alright, I take it back. I'm fairly positive this is satire. Nothing can be this bad and be completely serious. Although, Battlefield Earth really is an awful movie. And I'm not a Trekkie, I'm a film nerd. Battlefield Earth is full of dutch angle shots, which is just lazy, shitty cinematography. It's also full of hammy acting, and lines that just sound ridiculous. But whatever, that's my opinion.

Cosmosis is a masterpiece of science fiction that is not afraid of delving into the philosophy of space exploration whilst also being a entertaing thrill ride but on that note larger explosions could make the film more effective; think along the lines of Micheal Bay (he's actually pretty good you know). The stand out performance is of Morris as Captain Jeff. In all Cosmosis is a film worth taking note of and so i give it the Ebert approval of 3.5 out of 4 stars.

how many light years in the future? 300 billion? that's like.. very very far away. not only light year is a measure of distance, also the mentioned distance exceeds the size of the universe more than three times. furthermore the current age of our universe is only about 15 billion years so 300 would likely be more than the life expectancy of the mentioned universe.

of course that's only assuming that the big bang theory is true.
