I just got an ESP LTD EC-1000 along with an EC-50 because I wanted to turn it into a project guitar. They pretty much sound the same because I play them on the same settings except for the fact that the EC-1000 has better natural and artificial harmonics such as the pinch harmonics that you do. I'm pretty sure that it's because of the pickups. The EC-1000 had EMG 81/85's and the EC-50 jut had ESP pickups. Dou you think it could be because the EC-50's aren't active pickups?

you should ditch the 1960a cab for a 1960bv cab. the vintage 30's are such better speakers, and straight cabs give a nicer sound
