That information is fallacious! I am flying for Singapore Airlines as a Boeing 777-200 and I have a type-rating for the Boeing 737NG.

Autopilot cannot be engaged below 1,000 feet! It is a safety feature of the computer, mandatorily giving the pilots full control until 1,000 above.

  • facing anoying german language..

  • @SuperOlav01 Huh??

  • Real thing for a 737 - 800:

40% N1 then maximum take off thrust.

Positive rate of climb = gear up

400Feet Auto pilot to be engaged.

    reduce thrust.

    Landing :

Thrust reversers to be applied only after nose gear touch.

    Taxi :

thrust to remain the same ( try ) slow by braking not reducing thrust.

Max taxi speed = <20 Knots GS

  • ok your ready and we are ready and we are ready to go..LOl

  • indeed a soft landing. Very nice.

  • In real life it would be illegal. In the simulator, it is perfectly fine since ATC is not simulated anyway. ;)

  • you forget to call the ATC, GTC thats illegal landing
