In my opinion, Osgood's was the best because he stopped the puck and then shot it down the ice all in one motion while being pressured by the other team, and the puck didn't hit ice until the far blue line just before hitting close to dead center of the net.

Currently only 5 of the 9 goaltenders (11 goals) who have been credited with a goal in the NHL actually shot the puck into the net. Ron Hextall (2), Martin Brodeur, Chris Osgood, Jose Theodore and Evgeni Nabokov are the only ones who have done that. Brodeur's second goal along with Billy Smith, Damian Rhodes, Mika Noronen and Chris Mason have all been credited with scoring a goal by virtue of being the last player on their teams to touch the puck.
