  • If You Pause At 1:50 Cookie Monster Can't Get The Cookie. Cookie Monster: And Me Run Up There And Me Get Cookie!

  • I love how he sticks his head down the hole and looks around!

  • This is excellent for kids because they have to figure out how to do things by themselves.

  • COOPERATION! No, Cookie Monster, that is a different clip.

  • Me thought there may be loophole.

  • AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAA!

ME DO IT, ME DO IT!

    hahaha adore him

  • i'd just fling it out

  • i think kermit should have had cookie monster do it becuase kermit likes to use cookie monster as examples in some of the skits

  • Oh, Cookie Monster. Always willing to do anything for a cookie.

  • 1:48 ROFL!!

  • how about throw brick through window and steal cookies

  • Cookie Monster: Ernie, you cooperate with Cookie, OK?

So, Elmo's not the only one who refers to himself in the 3rd person, I see.

  • Doesn't look like a cookie @ 0:08. It's a RICE CAKE!!!

  • they're all styrofoam

  • this has got to be my all time favourite coockie monster sketch!!! :OD

  • ME DO IT ME DO IT!

  • you'd be suprised what a 3 year old can understand

  • It makes me as happy as it did years ago. I mean it! I'm almost embarrassed..

  • ''ernie you co-operate with cookie '' lol

    love it

  • Let me try that again. Jim Henson was both the voice of Kermit and Ernie until his death.

  • OOOM NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM!!

  • Priceless...

  • Anyone notice how Cookie's voice is slightly higher here than usual? Though not as high as David Rudman does him today.

  • I've just come from another video with Cookie Monster and Kermit, and Ernie is talking in Kermit's voice... It's really disturbing.

  • Well of course Ernie is talking in Kermit,s voice. Jim Henson voiced both of them before he died.

  • That's why they're trying to teach problem solving here visually.

  • The first logic classes...teehee...

  • I LOVE THE COOKIE MONSTER!!!

  • i know thats a rice cake deffo - i wouldnt work all that out 4 one ricecake.

  • Looks like a Box of Moon Pies. Id kill for some Moon Pies.

  • lmao..."ME DO IT, ME DO IT!!!" (c) Cookie Monster

  • i actually laughed out loud when watching this. great

  • cookie monster rocks!!!

  • LOL

    "Use noggin!"

  • I hated brainteasers as a child-they made me feel so dopey. That must have been how Cookie Monster felt

  • Cookie Monster almost got his head stuck at 01:53.

  • That cookie always looked like a friggin rice cake to me!

  • this is sooo sweat. :D

  • Man, Ernie sounds like Jeff Goldblum!

  • hahaha cookie is retarded..."me do it me do it me do it...use NOGGIN!" this is so funny the muppets rule

  • If he was retarded, he wouldn't know what a loophole is.

  • I love his eureka moment!Thats using your "noggin"!

  • me thought there may be loophole

  • LOL!

  • The cookie looks more like a rice cake.

  • Well, spluh!! In a Nogginoid, all cookies were rice cakes because chocolate, oil and grease can ruin a Muppet.

  • And here I have "A" cookie monster? You mean there's more than one? Oh boy..

  • Poor Ernie. Cookie Monster didn't even thank him.

  • That,s Cookie Monster for you. He has no manners.

  • XD i had completely forgot about this, but as soon as i saw the screen shot, it all came flooding back!

  • It never ceases to amaze me when Ernie is so adultlike with Cookie Monster but so immature around Bert.

  • yeah i noticed that!

  • Yeah I don't it get it either, Ernie is an enigma alright.

  • As loyal a viewer of "Sesame Street" I've always been, I've never seen this sketch. When did it orginiate, if anyone knows?

  • And when he mentioned Cooperation, I knew that'd obviously be considered cheating.

  • I love it when Cookie Monster shouts "Cowabunga!"

  • "Me thought there may be loop hole!" Ha! But a good lesson in figuring out a problem.

  • How did they get the rice cake to not slide?

  • that is true but they didnt even paint it to look like a cookie, also rice cakes crumble more than cookies

  • Not bad. Very educational for a child to learn about problem solving. Ernie sure had some good planning to teach Cookie Monster how to get the rice cake. Cookie should recieve both the box of cookies, as well as a gold star sticker for figuring it out.

  • I thought it looked like a silver hockey puck. I mean, I knew it was a rice cake, but I thought the rice cake looked like a hockey puck. On to the important bit: Boy-a-roonie!

  • If Cookie Monster had just pounded the end of that stick, that cookie would have flown out of the hole and into his gaping maw. Which would have made for better TV, and sadly would not have taught whatever was on CTW's curriculum for the day.

  • Yeah. What Ernie should have added to that hole was a door that would close when Cookie Monster let go of it.

  • Good point. He might have thought to do that if he did not notice the brick first.

  • Actually the use rice cakes so they don't damage the muppets.

  • cookie looks like ricecake

  • That's what I thought. It looked like a rice cake painted silver.

  • yeah it does! i always thought that everytime i saw this skit. :D
