Well, I had an extremer glitch once. I was at GLaDOS, I had just threw the last core into the incinerator, and i accidentally fell in and died. I respawned BELOW where GLaDOS was, OB. All I could do was sit around and wait to die. When I died and respawned, I was OB again.

if you place 2 portals over eachother you get a mirror that you can leap into, and then exit from it again almost asif you bounce off the wall, but when you do you should collide with the other you on the other side of the mirror, wich is you....i wonder what would happen if you would place a portal in such a manner that it causes a laser beam to cross itself so much times that it starts to create an immense amount of heat without costing any extra energy.....THE WAY OF THE FUTURE!

@TheAnimefan112 You won't "collide with the other you on the other side of the mirror" because you won't GET to the "other side of the mirror" - you'll just bump into yourself as though you walked into a wall. In other words, you can't leap into that portal; you'd crash into yourself the same way you'd crash into someone leaping to you as you leaped to that someone.

Also, I don't think a laser beam would create an immense heat through crossing itself. Heat doesn't work that way.

@ShadeTheDark555 I tried it and yes, you can. You can stop yourself by shooting another one. The flash game on newgrounds used this for a lot of its puzzles, and in theory you could use it in the original to gain intense momentum.

On this place in the map, there isn't a

func_noportal_volume (name in Hammer)

And the Texture (toolsblack) hasn't the Keyvalue %noportal so you can shoot trough the Model, because it hasn't a CollisionModel.

i find pc version better because, well, you have a sense of where you're going to turn with the mouse, FPS games on consoles just arent the same, and id find it much more harder to play portal since you need to act fast half of the time

I have a 2 year old card which runs every game I own flawlessly, and it didn't cost nearly as much as you like to pretend it does. I still don't plan on upgrading it for a long, long time.

You can build a top of the line PC these days for 500 dollars or LESS. That's hardly a drop in the bucket considering how much the average ignorant person would drop on a brand new pre-built PC that performs even worse than had they built it themselves. PC gaming is simply not as expensive as most believe.
