@noledgewise1 I have other more manipulative techniques in my sales videos. Just type Advanced Sales Techniques on my YouTube channel. They're all free as well
@sealife224 The easiest healthy way is to exercise allot. You may find the mental solution in my tutorial called How to Control your Emotions. Its on my Youtube channel. I hope that helps
the true way to argue involves bashing your opponents ideas into a corner and then walling it off and declaring that entire corner toxic to debate. Then people with no opinions on the matter will take your side out of fear.
@charbroiledmonk1033 Yes pretty much. I've never found brute force arguing to work very well. No matter how many facts you have if the other person doesn't like you it won't matter
Typing this comment before watching the video - My brother is an excellent linguist. Verrrry intelligent, and a fierce debater. Whenever I debate with him, I'm always left feeling less than a man. Hopefully this video will turn me into a competitor. >:3
@jammerjaw How did it go? Just understand that not everyone is worth debating with. If you are dealing with someone that constantly is compiling facts to back up their own opinion while ignoring all the facts that conflict with their opinions you in a bad situation. The only way to persuade them is to get them to respect you first. If they aren't willing to do that move on. Spouting facts without recognizing those facts that conflict is known as propaganda. Ask your brother about that :)
@derekbanas Funny thing is, these tactics were used on me on a number of occasions. I'd walk away from the person and go "Waaaait a miinute!!!" But, yeah, it'll take some practice. xD
I have a request for a video.. a friend of mine is having some trouble with finding a job, because he has no idea of what the proper rapport is appropriate for job interviews. So how about a "How to Nail an interview" video?
@RajaJayasinghe I'm glad you find the psychology videos useful. I've done one on pretty much every subject I could imagine. Thanks for the nice comments :)
@derekbanas You are very welcome. When people do good they should know it. It clearly that you have done a lot of work putting those videos together. Its well appreciated.
@vicboy129 I'm not a psychologist, I've just read countless text books. I write sales scripts for a living, so I gathered this information over my many years. I thought others might be interested
@megamaaaan You really motivate people to buy with words more than anything else. Everything else is based on whether the person identifies with your images. I did an extremely advanced tutorial on sales. It's called Advanced Sales Techniques. It's on my YT channel. I write sales scripts for a living and provide most of the details on what I do in that tutorial. Tell me if that helps
@MsDebsta Thanks :) My best videos on how to apply all of these techniques in the real world can be found in my advanced sales techniques video series. You cab replace the word sales with negotiation. It is a universal tutorial that applies to all levels of negotiation. Hope that helps
Nice video. I need some advice. I'm trying to get into University for psychology next year. What would you say your life feels like, reading even your own body language and thinking about this 24/7? Or do you learn to switch that thinking off, and mold right back into society off the job. AND, if it's always on, have you found it useful in your day to day life as opposed to a annoying.
@3l3m3nt4l I don't analyze body language constantly. I mainly do it when I'm around people I don't know. I used to do it during sales situations in the recent past and found that while it made me very persuasive it also made me very tired. It is an extremely powerful tool, but it is also exhausting. I hope that helps
@derekbanas One thing I'm worried about is not being very socially adept. Would this have a negative impact on my career? Or do you think there are tools that can help me with that which you learn in psychology?
@3l3m3nt4l I found I was able to get along better with others once I was able to quickly spot their personality and then act accordingly. Mirroring and matching will help you quickly build rapport with most anyone then. If I was you focus on personality analysis (I have a video of course) and then move on to rapport building. That should help a bunch
@333hab Glad you liked the tutorial. I have a low number of views because I gear the tutorials toward teaching the subjects more than toward getting views. If I showed my face, decreased the length, etc. my views would go up, but that wouldn't help you to learn any better. This is just fun for me. Pass along any questions and I'll do my best to help. Thanks :)
Cool, thank you sir. Those points really make sense. How could one condition themselves (gradually) to express positive body language and conversation without seeming awkward or fake?
@john429130 If you mirror and match the person, you are conversing with, while you speak they will never notice. Check out my get people to like you video for more on this subject. Thanks
Fuck, I wish these rules were cemented in our minds without training.
