Nice presentation, Matt, and a good example. The sound level is a bit low, though.
One question - Asynchronous means "behind the scenes"? Are you sure about that? I thought it meant "not happening simultaneously"?

@elecmonk By "behind the scenes" he means that, it seems to happen that way. When something is done asynchronously, that process continues to occur at the same time that something else is happening. Hence, "not happening simultaneously" to other parts of the program. The GUI may display something while in the background the program is still retrieving info....hope that helps.
