  • You calibrate the temp offset in this unit by moving the dial selector to set day/time, briefly hold the two buttons (HOLD & NEXT) at the same time and it changes to one number being displayed that allows + or - 5*. For example our unit was telling us our room was 73* when it was only 68* so I had to adjust it.

  • do you know how to unlock this thermostat?? i have one like this but the 1500 model..and i was messing with it cuz it wouldnt hold the temp so now i somehow locked and it and the heater WONT turn on until the morning!!

help me out if you find out how to fix it. thanks!

  • @lkopets Press these buttons on the thermostat in this order... NEXT, NEXT, NEXT, HOLD. That is how mine unlocks and probably the same for yours. If that does not work try removing the batteries for a few minuties than putting them back in. Let me know if any of that works.

  • wow what a fascinating video!

  • I live 15 minutes away from the LUX headquarters building in Mount Laurel ,NJ. They make a fine product NICE!

  • I used to have this stat in the past.. Wasn't too bad for the money, but I didn't like the temp "swing" they do.

  • @jay11j yeah... well its ok for right now. Maybe in a couple years I'll replace it. We got this T stat 2 years ago from menards for about $50. We got this one so that everyone could be able to read it, because the Honeywell we had before this one was not digital and it was hard to read what temperature it was set at.

  • My Honeywell Focuspro is very loud too. Nice Video dude! 5/5 and a favourite!
