Did you use the paid version of konboot and does konboot erase or change the password after you use it ? For exmple if in a session i use the cd to bypass the password , in the next one , without konboot will i have to enter the password?

@Andrei95Ro There is no paid version of konboot. Anyway, if you use Konboot to boot into the admin account, you can then create a new account with admin rights, or change a limited account to admin. This will not work for network accounts.

@shanemate8 No, that only works if you're a n00b and you don't have an admin password already set. Anyone with any sense would not have a blank admin password, thus booting into safe mode you will be present with the login screen. If you can get into you machine in safe mode without a password then that means a remote attacker can gain access without your knowledge. FAIL

Cos when it starts up and I go to the menu and make the main priority 'CD - ROM', (and I have a CD Rom in the disc drive with kon boot on it) nothing works. Download the file from your friends computer, Read the instructions from the site that this video gives.

Afther that bring to CD to your home, put it into your computer and reboot, You can now login without a password.

Afther this, go to youtube and search a tutorial to change a password without knowing it, Hope it helped.

Why bother? Just boot ANY LiveCD and read the file. Unless Kon-Boot is capable of allowing access to encrypted data, but any decent encryption scheme is going to require input of a passphrase.

The problem is that as a limited user you are not able to download anything, and you can not run any programs without knowing the password of the Administrator.

Goto Start Right click on All Programmes and than select Explorer! only if its like with me, if you dont hav access to the C drive!

other wise goto C Documents and settings your username and than start menu!

Go into Programmes and than Start up move any exe or batch file in there and you will be able to run it! If it is a batch file it will still be a limited interface!
