  • @KikiYushima - Don't give up. Just keep writing. Everything else will take care of itself. You'll find lots more writing inspiration on my blog. Also, you'll also find the CD as a download at CD Baby for only US$9.99 at cdbaby.

  • I want this CD SO hard. I've been suffering writer's block a year now which is super hard for me. I'm only nineteen, but I've been at this ten years. This actually brought tears to my eyes since I've really doubted my abilities as a writer as of late. I've even begun to wonder if it's worth still doing. This helped me reaffirm I still need writing in my life no matter how shitty the quality of my work right now. I'll get back to quality someday.

  • I didn't really think something like this would help me, but it truly has. I've gotten out of a writing rut that I'd been in for far too long thanks to this meditation. Thank you so very much for uploading and sharing it.

  • @wordsmith64 Thanks so much for your comment. I'm gratified that you found the video meditation helpful!

  • this is great. i think this cannot only be used for traditional writers (like authors, poets etc), but also for painters, musicians, for example. I think one can interpret writing in different in ways. The first being obviously writing single letters, sentences, so the common meaning of the word. Painting is writing too. However, you write with color and you are able to express emotions as well as a traditional writer. Musicians are writers to, they write for your ears.

  • @lucilinburhuc666 As you see writing is always in connection with your senses and your emotions and therefore something wonderful.

I wish I could write more often, but I always have trouble deciding for example which setting i should take or how to name my characters and I'm always alternating between my choices. This is my personal brake, which keeps me away from writing my story/stories.

  • Amazing!!!

Thank you soooo, soooo, sooooo much for sharing!!! :)

    It was perfect!

  • I love this. I'll be buying the CD from Amazon.com.

  • Very nice video . You have a pleasant voice . Thanks for sharing

  • Biggest AHA-what others have written does NOT matter--WOW! I had to let that old belief go! I used to compare---and that would STOP me from writing!

    Thanks Mark!

  • Thank you !!

Starting the book and loved this video

    Blessings

  • Hmmmm....one daughter plays piano and writes poetry. Another daughter paints and photographs. Our son sings and composes music. I write and my husband is a musician. Maybe the CD will be good for the whole family!

  • Awesome. Do you have one specifically for poets?

  • @DMarieTM - Thanks. This meditation, like 10 others I've recorded on The Voice of the Muse Companion: Guided Meditations for Writers is designed for writers in *any* genre or medium. In fact, creative artists who are not writers tell me they also find them powerful/helpful.

  • This is a good meditation for the writer in all of us. <3

    Brings so much surrender!!

    You Rock Mark David Gerson!

  • Wonderful empowerment, Mark David. What a gift.

  • love it! awesome. it's just perfect.

  • Mark David, this will serve as a powerful tool to many. Your voice further takes the writer & writer's-to-be deeper into their journey. Your book also has a unique creative approach and I'm very happy to be reading and re-reading it along my writer's path. Thank you and blessings!
