Hey BradRy2 Do you have trouble doing the festival dance throws from SC2 to now; I know I do. I was hard doing them to the computer and other play now since SC2 I haven't been able to do it all. Do you get this too?
Now the back guard is called a repel this can be done in +/- 7 frames(i think its 7) this one throws you opponent to the side this is the best one if you are playing defensively the impact is best of offense players the impact also damages your opponents soul gauge unlike the repel. Now some weapons have IMP next to their name in the moves list these moves can be used to impact E.G. Raphael has back A+B these makes him say come on if done at the right time he will impact and auto attack.
i had 2 comments up before but for some reason it only lets 1 stay the other 1 went into detail about impacts so i say this because the terms "weapon repel and weapon grab" are not good to use they will confusion the forward a is an impact so if you use the term weapon grab people might think attack throw and using weapon repel for an impact can get you mixed up. also you cant impact\repel low attacks with forward G you need to to diagonal G.
I call it Weapon Grab cause that's what its called back in SC1. Never paid attention if the terms changed or not since I'm using what I learned from SC1.
ya they changed it all i think in the 3ed game i wish they would keep it the same but sadly its all different. now more then ever its about long combos the others you could get by with but now if you even want to survive you need super long combos. so they have messed with styles, names, playabily (like drinkabilty but not beer)
Which is why I gave up on trying to get all achievements for this game. Unless you're a master at combos or defense tactics you can't really win against high level players or most low level ones.
That's good 2 know. Wait, Japanese voices? Not cool, man! (Even though I like both voices, I heard some voices that are annoying no matter what language.)
Ok explanation behind that. First Soul Caliber (I had on Dreamcast) voices Japanese. Heard it in english 1st time. Meh. Besides Nightmare sounds cooler in Japanese.

Why not just say time Foward+A and Back+A with your opponets attack. A lot more understandable that way.

Weapon Grab is pretty much Back and Guard. Repel is Foward and Guard. It's really all in the timing on how you do it.

Kilik ;_;. Why do you still have to be the SC3 version? I want my GOOD qcb stance >_>.

No that was his worst. Have all the characters go back to the original SC days.

About the critical finish it helps if your opponent was broking and you broke his guard with a normal attack

Yeah I figured that out after 5 hours of play.

Does this mean you're using Kilik online?
Rashman21 3 years ago
Possibly. I've been a user of Kilik, Siegfried, Lizardman, and Sophita since the first game.
