Young Kim, please apply for a position at Apple. Your video says a lot about your creativity and ability to communicate ideas clearly. Apple or Microsoft, you've got a great future ahead of you.
The touch sensitive strip buttons offer Page up and Page down button. WHY include SUCH USELESS feature? Why cant they put Back and Next button instead since theres no physical button for it on the side.
The worst part is, you cant change those 2 buttons even with intelipoint. It only allow u to configure the middle/left/right buttons.
i actually like the TrackPad that I bought the Apple Magic TrackPad. Also, I like the ThinkPad "red dot" -- once you are used to it, it is in fact very easy to use
apple and microsoft are both amazing companies and healthy competition for one another...steve jobs is a legend and will always remain one but lets not forget bill gates and his team at microsoft...they are also living legends....this is an amazing video..love da creation and innovation in this product and young kim is so cute :)
Steve Jobs reincarnated... I was looking for some gadget... and bought this mouse immediately on landing on this video..!!! really nice mouse.. and what is different from apple here is that it doesn't cost a fortune!!! Microsoft here shows: Quality is affordable..!!!
Dam its like the 14th time i see this video i even downloaded it in HD, i already bought it at amazon for 33.45 tax and shipping already included.. All im gotta do is wait for the UPS guy to get here. don't get why this video has dislikes????
He designed the mouse out of pure imagination and the thought of portability and the reliability of being a solid, strong and easy-to-use product.
Some think that this may have stolen some design by Apple, but where does it say in Webster's that Apple created sleek and easy?
This is a greatly designed mouse, and almost every non-ignorant and closed-minded person can see that. With that said, this is a mouse that needs recognition not because of the company, but because the designer himself.
@DjAznInVAZN You mean "open-minded" not "closed-minded". I was a bit thrown off there by your complete understanding between Apple and Microsoft's design styles.
Revolutionary? Maybe, in terms of design. Evolutionary? One hundred percent. Knowing that this man, Young Kim, pioneered the Arc Touch project gives me much peace-of-mind when I go out to buy one and call it my very own.
@itachiitachi1946 it's not about views at all! if you buy a low profile car like ferrari and then use it for mountain riding it's obvious it won't perform as well as a 4wd jeep... point is don't complain if you're using it wrong.
@lordfrikk ur stupidity is infinte and thats why i wont reply to u trying to explain why ur wrong.as i said before u and me have diferent ways of views.and btw stop provoking me.
mine broke in a week. and there is absolutely nothing about broken arc touch mouses to be found online. i am currently waiting on a replacement. ill post back if that one exceeds the life of the first.
Pathetic!
This video isn't meant to sell the product to the average consumer. They have commercials, ads, websites, etc for that.
This is for the tech-minded designer (like myself) who appreciate hearing about the inspiration behind an innovative product like the Arc Touch. I, for one, really enjoy these behind the scene glimpses into the creative process.
That said, I'm not disputing that Microsoft often has trouble with the "common-man ad factor" like you mentioned. That IS true.
@sk8rboy33 I studied industrial design and i love and wish for more videos like this. The creative process into developing consumer products is intense, complicated, yet beautiful all at the same time. I truly hope more people respect the time and thoughts it takes to provide them with innovative products that enhances their lifestyle.

Why is this video again about the tech? Tech should be all about the people. Show me what I would feel using it, instead what it felt designing it.

I'm lookig to buy a new mouse right now. It's this mouse or the Logitech M305?
the M305 does 4 way scrolling cant find any info that the Arc does the same, shame?
I think I will need 4 way scrolling, as I dont have much desk space.
