You go on and on about the cable length, the cable is the correct length for a notebook, which is implied in the name of the cam and your video, so give it a rest!

As far as the USB cord length is concerned, this camera is for a notebook so the cord is the correct length for a notebook. If you are using it on a desktop computer, buy a USB extender and don't complain that they made the cord too short.

how can you like be recording a vid for youtube and see your live recording on the computer so u can tell what the camera is viewing or how its focused???

I have a Logitech webcam Pro 9000 and I love it. My webcam did not come with a stand, but it's so easy to sit on top of my laptop without any problems. Thanks for the review. Logitech webcam offered the best quality.

I've had this webcam now for about 6 months and I have to say that before getting this one I had given up on webcams.. they were all blurry, slow-motion effect, dark lit images... and then a friend told me to try out this one and I mean I didn't believe my own eyes or brain for that matter because what I was seeing before me was a webcam that was working the way one should work! But this passed my expectations, SO CRISP & CLEAR! WOW A+++++ Finally A Webcam worth the money!

i had also Logitech Quickcam Pro for Notebooks, i have a problem. every time i use my webcam, and the light turn off.. i see a 3 red line in the side of my face.

but when the light turn on, the 3 red line disappear..

it's a defect?? or normal? because the lights is turn off?

I've been looking for a web cam. It's actually kinda cool that it has a clip... you can clip it to anything. Hell you could use a better stand and simply attach it to that one. I've been looking for a web cam so I'm glad I saw this.

Hey, I know exactly what your talking about - unfortunately it doesn't have a 'screw in' section, its a clip that attaches to the stand.

A UBS-hub is ultra new technology. Not really, I meant USB. :)

I guess you could use a UBS-hub instead of a extender cable if you have one. I've got the QuickCam PRO 9000 (not the laptop version) and it's really good.
