  • R.I.P. Amy Winehouse 14/09/1983 - 23/07/2011

  • Oh! I'm one of Amy's greatest fans and loved it. Congrats for this amazing collection. :D

  • That´s a nice collection. BUt I miss the 12" VINYL of the Rehab feat Jay-Z Remix...whta about that?

  • @p76eter Didn't have that piece at the time this video was made. Thanks for watching.

  • Do you have Mariah Carey's Fatasy remix on vynil, or Emotions 12"?

  • Don't like Amy Winehouse blended with Hip-Hop? That is what I like to do! I love blending genres with Hip-Hop so I have a versatile set. Oh well. To each his own. I am a huge fan of Rehab (with I own on 12" vinyl).

  • I love Amy Winehouse!

  • As do I supreme! Can't WAIT to hear some new tunes from her. Thanks for watching:)

  • My Pleasure and yes i am looking forward to a new Amy Album

  • omg i adore Amy i want a record now

  • Man I havent seen the first UK edition Lp where shes sitting on the sofa...gotta find that one...havent seen it anywhere. Back to Black is a true modern classic...its perfect.

  • They tend to give the UK more songs because it costs more to manufacture records/CDs in Europe. Same goes for Japan. :-) Badass collection.

  • So how does a person like yourself have the time, resources and money to have such a varied collection like yours. From what I have seen in your other videos, I'm guessing you've done more than 15 years of collecting all that stuff.

  • I've been seriously collecting for 25 years. I was in the music industry in some way, shape, or form for the same period of time.

    Thanks for watching!

  • So how big would you say your collection is? And what do you consider is the rarest/oldest item you have?

  • I have around 6,000 or so 12"s/LP's and very few 45's. I am trying to get my collection down to 2,000 though, but it's hard!

I was never one to really chase 'rare' records, but have gotten my hands on some nice pieces through the years.

12" test pressings on some key early Hip-Hop stuff, 12" test pressings on some Madonna stuff, tons of promos, etc.

  • Thanks, I was going to order the vinyl online but I didn't know which one to get... now I understand the difference between the different releases. I definitely want the one with the pictures inside and without the parental advisory warning.

  • nice collection. im trying to catch up to you lol. I got ahold of "Tears Dry On There" own clear 7" and the "Back to Black" white 7" and the U.S. Back to Black LP. Good stuff...Where do you get most of your vinyl from?

  • nevermind lol. i read some of your replies below. but yea, online seems to be where it's at. Although I got ahold of an Oukast red 10" here in Orlando. so that was cool.

  • Hi. I do buy online, but I also go to flea markets, garage sales, goodwill, etc. I'm always on the hunt! Check out my latest video "Vinyl Road Trip". Feel free to 'subscribe' to my videos too. This way you'll know when I put a new video up:) Thanks for watching.

  • Ok so I had never really heard any of her stuff untill I saw this video a few months ago. I saw the Back to Black vinyl today at a store I go to and I decided to picked it up, not knowing any of her somgs or really anything about her but or her style of music or singing style. Well WOW its really good stuff. Thanks for intruducing me to some more music - I can never get enough. Keppin Vinyl alive

  • Cool! Glad you dig her. Truly a classic album! You may want to check out The Dap Kings too. They are her backing band when she tours in the USA. Start with "Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings - Naturally". Killer stuff. There's also a ton of vinyl put out by their label - Daptone Records. Thanks 4 watching:)

  • Whats up man, have you seen her vinyl of the Frank Remixes?? check out her myspace if you didn't know....I got the promo card signed when I met her in Chicago!!!!

  • Cool, I Always Wanted To Go Down There. I Wonder If Theres Still Any Record Shops Down The Way. They're All Gone, All The Mom And Pop Type Places. Except Ny, Of Course..Any Vinyl Down There?

  • New York is dry, and Jersey ain't any better. I don't buy much these days, and when I do most of it comes from online. Once in a while I'll go to garage sales and crap though.

  • Well In NY There's Alotta Good Stuff, In The Village. Otherwise, Everything Elase Is Pretty Much Dry. I Love Shopping Online Though, So Convenient..

Good Talking To You Brother, Later..

  • sup damien, if you ever hit up cali we have amoeba records, that is a vinyl MUST. in NY check out bob bleeker's record shop.

  • I'm A Regular, HaHa But There Are A Couple Of Record Shops By There Too. Thanx For The Tip, I Appreciate That. You Take Care Now, See Ya..

  • Hey Whats Up Shawn. I Dig Your Vinyl, Man. I'm From Hudson County, Where Are You From?
