I have always said you can play just as fast with 2 fingers as you can with 3 or more because you can only pluck with one finger at a time. Well this proves it. This guy is an amazing player right there with Victor Wooten and Steve Bailey et al.
@tbcass I think most players who use 3 fingers do so because it causes less fatigue. Look at John Myung, another 6 string player. Or Alex Webster. That said, Adam Nitti's a badass and I'm going to take a lesson from him soon I think.
I remember hearing this song when it was posted on SWR's old website, and realizing just how much was possible with the bass guitar. It's great to be able to see him play it!
Mr. Nitti is pronouncing D'Addario incorrectly. It's pronounced "duh-DAIRY-o." Why do so many musicians--especially clinicians representing the company- screw this up?
@3e3op88 I know right I have also wondered why he has never mentioned warrior I think they are the most expensive next to alembic and ritter you think he would say something he probably got that bass free either way this is a great song
@jarhead4214 Cool you found a new love, though you should try and get into "feel" or what makes a really good "groove or pocket" The finger groove he does is very "sterile" unlike all the bass players you mentioned. Though I like this guys originality with it and those opening arpeggios along with other lines are the nice!
@irishbug14 Well, starting with adam nitti, I would try thinking it's an Adam Nitti Signature. Which is it. haha. It's a Warrior Adam Nitti Signature.
Wow! You are incredible - I'm going to tell everyone to check you out!! I just switch from a four string to a five string. After seeing you I want to go to Six. Keep up the good work. I think I will check out your CD.
Mr. Nitti should check out Public Peace basses... I think he would LOVE them! I just got a Frog Beta 5 and LOVE it!!

I may be mistaken but it sounds as if Mr. Nitti has listened to the work of Mr. Pastorius quite a lot ... =P
