Why does the steering wheel sound like a zipper when turned?

@R109259 force feedback in the game causes the wheel to act like a real car's steering wheel. it is harder to turn some times more than others. the gears in my wheel are rather loud since it's pretty old, newer wheels are quieter.

haha reminds me of when i let my sisters friends try playing my nascar games. they always told me it was easy and all you do is drive in circles so i let them try nascar 08 and NTG11 and they couldn't even leave the pits in 08 and kept hitting the walls 11, proved them wrong! >:D
