  • Paddy keenan,Top man on the pipes!!!!

  • I just love Dónal's backing @ 2:55. Pity it can't be heard so well. Sweet memories...

  • as long as such music stays alive ... so do i XXXX

  • Crowds were not as animated when I was young: at concerts, sporting events, etc. Somehow there is an expectation now that you're supposed act as if it's Mardi Gras at any public event. There is very funny clip on YouTube of Sly and the Family Stone singing "Dance to the Music" in the early 1970s, and nobody is moving a toe!

  • how come no body's dancin'? how can you possibly sit still to this stuff?

  • I love the way the top F# seems to ring out (second part of the 4th tune ~ Fair Haired Mary)

  • Wow! I have found the way to hear the Clip as if you are being in the Concert and hearing it in live. It's increadible to hear this cool music in live. You must try!!!!

  • I have listened (a lot!)to the Bothy Band for many years but this is the first time I have actually seen them. What a treasure.

  • es el mejor set xD

  • los locos capos!!

    saludos

  • ...takes me back to when I was young.

  • Go away hch49 she's mine

  • The best part about this music is that no matter how bad life is, you can listen to this and all the sorrows melt away like snow in the spring, I must say if you dont tap your foot to this you dont have a pulse

  • This is a gift from above, thanks bilko. I can't believe I'm actually "seeing" a band I've loved for 2 decades. RIP Michael Your singing brought light into my life up on many occasions.

  • The Bothy Band really blew me away back in the late 70's and got me listening to Irish music.I had grown up in Scotland and was used to hearing Scottish music being murdered by kilted accordionists who probably lived in shortbread tins. So to hear Irish music that was so dynamic was a real paradigm shift!

  • Old Hag is my favourite all time folk album.

Must have played it a thousand times, strange to see them on a real video.

  • easily my fav clip, Old Hag You Killed Me is pretty good too. Blessings

  • I'm in love with Triona!

  • Have you seen her recetly ?

  • Triona has aged beautifully ... a very lovely lady.

  • You're a good man Bilko.

  • ok,very good

  • Holy cow.

  • great, thanks again Bilko

  • Bothy band are brilliant there is no doubt about it. Good man Bilko

  • Lovely as ever. Where is this origionally from? I would really like to have te full recording.

  • I've seen several of the 1976 Embankment videos posted and they seem to be the same arrangements as on their "Old Hag You Have Killed Me" album.

  • I know the album, but I would really like to see the band performing.

  • there is a progame on rte on friday nights called come west along the road the presenter is called nicklos carolan.he is an archive rescher for irish muisc
