  • elizabeth was a legend

  • I LOVE LOVE LOVE this woman. I had a friend that passed away to AIDS in 1991 and he said that her being supportive was something that gave him the will to try and go on when none of the drugs were working.

I will never forget this and will never stop loving and now missing this beautiful (inside and out) creature. She was a friend to us all.

God BLESS and Keep you, Elizabeth....always....

  • I have few heroes. She is one of them. Thank you for all the lives you saved. For the dignity you gave so many. Thank you.

  • I will always love her. I miss her already.

  • We will never see her like again. Elizabeth Taylor was a precious and passionate human being. She was a wonderful inspiration.

  • And its mine...LOL...luv her

  • "Van Cleef and Arpel; and it's mine!". Ha! Love Elizabeth!

  • Wait, this was in 1993? So she won the best actress for a certain movie????

  • @ttiiyy Jean Hershold humanitarian award !

  • @boricuas4669 Thank you. But they gave it to her at Academy Awards? I don't really watch this kind of stuff, so I'm a bit confused by how it works.

Regardless, she's a wonderful human being.

  • @ttiiyy The academy gives those kind of awards to actors ( For example lifetime achievement awards ) !! Probably is for all the things she does to fight the aids epidemic ! (●̮̮̃●̃)۶

  • @boricuas4669 Got it.

  • @ttiiyy

this is a humanitarian award. the other two she won were for Butterfield 8 and Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf.

  • Rest in peace our original mother monster.

  • Really beautiful, rare beauty Liz.

  • The FIRST star to speak out about AIDS was Morgan Fairchild. And she was a huge star at the time. Liz, who needed a gig, bumped her out. her career was going nowhere because no one would insure her for more than 1 days work....due to all her addictions and drama. I am not saying what Liz did for AIDS was in any way wrong BUT just clarifying the FACTS.

  • She had Fabolous BLUE-VIOLET eyes!!! Carcritic had drunk....

  • She looks "SENSATIONAL" here !!!

  • i love how Elizabeth says "What??"soo cute "and it's mine!" the best part of the video

  • she was born with black hair and violet eyes; a very beautiful combination

  • Where people go wrong is believing what they see on cleverly crafted film: stills or motion: light color gells are used, which can and will, by design, impact the color balance captured, making in many instances eg, when it comes to film and video footage (err ... moving digital imagery) pale eyes appear, again by intent, COLOR-SHIFTED to eg, green, blue or violet: fortunately PRE-DIGITAL such moving film, unless vignetted, can be identified by an overall frame shift; stills, were AIRBRUSHED!

  • Elizabeth Taylor herself, on numerous occasions, asserted that her eyes were NEVER violet. Check the UN-ALTERED and color correct photographic (line-screened) print, too, in her Jewelry Book -- post sunset (med warm color space), in indirect light (a tad blue, otherwise), where her eyes read celadon (green with gray). Met her face-to-face -- her eyes were a lovely celadon: not any shade of turquoise, nor any hue or tone of light blue, emerald nor violet; reflected ambient color

  • Elizabeth Taylor -- even ACKNOWLEDGED herself ... in her own Jewelry Book -- that (as confirmed in my own face-to-face meeting her) her EYES are NEITHER and never were ... violet nor any hue or tone thereof -- her eyes were celadon aka in the GREEN hue and tone pigment reflective color space. So why Paul Newman obviates that point ... rates stupid, evasive and permits the continuation of what a press agent had cooked up long ago -- a bogus claim; compounded, too, by filters, airbrushing & P.S.!

  • Dame Elizabeth...she was the last of her kind, a true Diva.

  • i love is when they she answers that her necklaces was hers, not borrow like many of the stars this days. the GRAND Elizabeth Taylor.

  • THIS LADY IS IN HEAVEN AMONG GODS ANDELS

  • She was 61 when this event took place and she was as gorgeous as ever. A woman of unbearable beauty, class, compassion, and love. Her multitudes of marriages and divorces pale in the shadow of the love the world had for her. She was the personification of the word "star" and "diva" in every since of the world for the second half of the Twentieth Century. God rest her beautiful soul

  • She was so very beautiful.

  • Elizabeth Taylor is bigfoot.

  • @DarkFire4599 i now pronounce u chuk and larry.

  • @hornyaguilerafan You bet! The homeless guy!

  • @DarkFire4599 yeah lol.

  • "And it's mine!!!" LOL... Go Elizabeth! Truly, truly a great star. She belongs in that rare category with Marilyn and Marlon.... A great beauty and talent.

  • A class act. God bless you Elizabeth. A star on earth. A star in heaven.

  • Elizabeth: You are & will "ALWAYS be family to me! David Harrison Levi - STARmaker ~ God Bless You!

  • a TRUE tALENT AND an amazing beauty of a woman...Hollywood is not Hollywood without you.....You were just MAGIC! Her voice was so sweet and a true heart of a lady....RIP Liz, we will miss you:-(

  • wasn't she british? her accent sounds kind of american to me.

  • @19myself91 Born in Hampstead, London, but her parents were americans. She was both american and british. She lived in the UK from 1932 to 1939.

  • @19myself91

her parents are American...she was born in the UK during a brief time her parents were living there.....the only reason she was became Dame was because she was born there, but her family is all American. Thats why they refer to her as British born American.

  • She always made such a grand entrance. She had such great stage presence and was always very candid and gentle. We have to be thankful for having herself be allowed to share these moments with us. she knew she had such great power with her name and she didn't waste it.

  • She would have been 61 here, and she looked amazing!

  • Great necklace! And it's HERS!

  • VICKIE WINANS USED TO WEAR THAT SAME HAIRSTYLE!

  • She looks absolutely beautiful. Not only on the outside but on the inside. The woman is the definition of a star.

To this day we still love her. She's timeless.

  • A heroine to all gay men. She showed her true (lovely) colours when she spoke out in defence of AIDS sufferers when no one else would. It could have ruined her, but she didn't care. What a girl! x

  • @TheDawnDavenport Funny that you said that, 5 months later I said something very similar on my FacceBook page. Thank you. Godspeed
