@Clint902 Well if you knew anything about anything, you would know that the devil is the "god" of this world. The Bible SAYS SO! It's the devil that causes all the pain and suffering, not God! Adam turned over the dominion of this world to satan, when Adam sinned in the Garden of Eden! The devil has been the god of this world ever since! That's the reason for prayer - it gives God permission to enter the devil's territory and act!

God is the owner, and the devil is the renter or lease holder. Just like in life, the owner cannot legally enter the renter's house, without permission. Our prayers give God permission!

Also sin entered the world when Adam sinned, and we live in an imperfect world! What we sow we reap! We bring a lot of misery on ourselves by our own sins!

You atheists have absolutely no wisdom! The Bible tells us that when we acknowledge God, that is the beginning of wisdom! Otherwise there is only knowledge!

No one truly understands how all this works, between God and the devil, but the Bible indicates that satan must get God's permission before he does bad things - this is in the Book of Job. Also God does intervene when He judges a situation. It may have been God's judgment on Haiti, but that is just a speculation. It also could have been instigated by satan. I wish I knew it all, but I don't!

@Clint902 that soddom and gomorrah was punishment from God himself because there was complete corruption and that place was completely full with sin, there was not even one person that was sinless, there was extreme homosexuality, lesbians, lust, adultery, fornication, idol worship and because of this God destroyed it because it was just too too bad!!
