This is quite 'real' movie, partly based on people's lifes, if you know what I mean. I thought it would be fake and totaly distaster, but it wasn't. It's funny movie with love and action. Just saw this film yesterday on fillmsi.co.cc... I thought it was going to be more of an action film. But it's more of a drama/action. It can be confusing at some parts but other than that it was great. My rating it 4 out of 5 stars.
Shutter Island is real masterpiece - great acting, directing, producing, everything. Some moments were even scary. Leonardo DiCaprio is real master (Leo acts even better than Johnny Depp). Ben Kingsley and Mark Ruffalo were great as well but I don't understand why so many people found the ending unpredictable. I predicted the ending after first 20-30 minutes. This movie is masterpiece but not as unpredictable as The Others, The Game, Identity, Fight Club, Cube 2 or The Prestige

People actually believe this is a makes-you-think-movie? It's just a makes-shitheads-think-they-need-to-think-movie failing to conseal the fact that it's an overused cliche.
I saw it with my boyfriend and we were both going nuts around the end, haha. It really made you think and question and discuss things for a long time after the movie and I love that. And like GRP's comment, really made you question your own sanity!!
i thought it was one of the most spectacular movies ever created. i appreciated it's length and its complex content. it was just such a stunning production. from the music and camera angles, to the special affects, to the acting, it was just so perfectly done

From the critics review I found that they generally said that it was "dumbed down", will apparently Scorsese knew what he was doing as some everyday people still didn't get it.

you really have to see the movie twice to get everything. The first time you arent quite sure what to believe but the second time you watch it you notice all the peculiar things that he does. it all starts coming together and making some sense. Especially the last line that teddy or rather andrew says in the movie

I had to explain what happened to one of my friends too.
I personally enjoyed it a lot, but I thought it could've been a little bit shorter.
From the critics review I found that they generally said that it was "dumbed down", will apparently Scorsese knew what he was doing as some everyday people still didn't get it.

ROFLLL!!! the movie wasnt confusing at all. unless you went to take a piss at the wrong time because you decided to upgrade to a bladder buster for only 50 cents and came in at the wrong time, then yes, it might be confusing.

you really have to see the movie twice to get everything. The first time you arent quite sure what to believe but the second time you watch it you notice all the peculiar things that he does. it all starts coming together and making some sense. Especially the last line that teddy or rather andrew says in the movie

Alot of people are saying the ted daniels turns out to be that floyd guy. but did anybody at the end see the patient and the black guy talking with each other normally and when daniels comes out they seperate and stop talking? I am under the impression that they were trying to make him crazy and he wouldnt budge.

I loved the movie, I thought it was pretty straight forward, I don't know why some people don't "get it". Knowing the ending, I don't know if it's one of those kind of movies you can watch over and over, but a great movie none the less.
