  • Check your wastegate and frequency valve.

  • the last thing i thought of was the plugs on mine, i was getting turbo flutter on the stock k24 at about 1.6 bar. checked and the PO had put in 10v plugs. putting the 20v plugs in fixed it easy. otherwise it could be a wastegate problem or if someone fucked with it and put on a manual boost control valve. thatll for sure mess up your a/f ratio

  • Did you figure out the problem? Have the same problem with my 20V. Mine is stock.

My 200 will sometimes boost at 1.6 Bar and other times it won't get past 1.2. Do you think it is the wastegate or Turbo? Still is one great Audi!!

    Great video!

  • Trav11145 could be right. Also check all of the turbo pipes for leaks under boost,

and check you boost control set up for faulty or loose connections. Depending on your fuel management set-up your rich mixture could be because of a boost leak or poor table set-up

  • Very nice car. I have no experience with Audi's, but Ive seen similar problems with other turbos. To me it seems like your wastegate is sticking. Im no expert but I had the same symtoms and that was the problem.

  • Hey thanks man... i appreciate it.

  • i like ur car bro
