0:16 At last.... someone who seems to have the same type of Strat as me: ie. Lace PUs, NO LOCKING NUT(?), string trees (yes?) and 'block' type string saddles. Mine was sold to me in 1989 as a 'Strat Plus' (it has a maple neck plus a white pick guard). But I keep being told that 'if it has string trees it can't be a Plus!' So what is it?
I've got cassette tapes of Man live at the Marquee back in the eighties and Deke live at the Hope and Anchor Islington doing things like 'Hard way to Live' and the sound quality is brilliant..
I love hearing stuff like that (Brian is my grandfather). He is never happier when hes playing, i keep trying to get him to do more stuff but hes to busy =-(
Deke, did you know that Tahitian only has one word for sadness (viewed as bad), and English 30+ (some noble, like grief and the Blues, some negative like self-pity)... Mind you there are quite a few in Welsh. There's a song in this somewhere. Source: Levy 'Tahtian Gentleness and Redundant Controls'

Mmmm enjoyed Iceberg as 'support' for Man about 1974/5 at the King's Hall, Aberystwyth...then they joind up to form a massive band to finish. Great!

Video and sound quality great. Many thanks for posting. Can we have one of the seventies Iceberg songs next?
