@HughFromAlice Hugh, Thanks for your rating. Watch out for today's video of Tornado and I will publish my roundup of 2011 tomorrow. So hope you have about 25 minutes spare to watch them. Regards, John
A real gunner she was going telling by the spinning of the wheels/rods and the speed of the carriages passing by the screen, I'd wish the Tyesely would do that more on the GWML
@GreatWestern175 Ryan, The Earl was certainly moving and I am fortunate to live in the Midlands so have captured quite a few videos of this fine locomotive this year. Lookout for more in my annual roundup which I will post on Saturday which will include tomorrow's Tornado tour. Thanks as ever for taking the time to comment. Regards, John
@robmasterman Bob, Certainly was a fine sight and just one more tour to capture this year. Seasons greetings to you and Mrs. M. Regards, John & Mrs E.
Compact, powerful, gleaming, and that whistle ... there's nothing quite like a Castle! Great shot of the Earl at speed which I enjoyed a lot, thanks for posting.
@kebl0597 I appreciate your comment and fully agree with your view on the Castle locomotive and especially this one. One of the best performers on the scene today. Regards, John
@sirhcsteam It was my first time at his location and there are lots of other opportunities in the immediate area. Thanks for your comment. Regards, John
@981smithy Phil, Thanks for your comment and whilst it was cold it was raining five minutes before it arrived so a bit of luck was involved. Regards, John
@Pmarsh1952 Yes very easy. The location is called Catholme on Trainspots.co.uk and as you drive towards the bridge, the field on the right is where I was. Regards, John
Brilliant clip and great location!
