  • Excellent tutorial. Moves along well and doesn't get bogged down in useless info.

  • inspirational tutorial. thanks!

  • my own experience when i was searching for a good synth vst was something like: "this one is pretty good ... this one is also nice ... this one sucks ... this one is good but sound a lot like the other one ... this one is ok i guess ... this is getting trivial" until i came across alchemy, then i was like "OMG this is like 877 times better than all the others i looked at!" the documentation is also really thorough.

  • wooooow wtf? buying it today.

  • virtual sampler good

  • Great video. Good job!

  • ..."which i change to fat, because thats how i like it"...

    ha ha ha

  • hey XISOTOPEX do you know how he actually turns the recording of the gate etc..into a wav file?anyone? please?

  • whatever it is that he uses to record the gate, records as a .wav file.

probably any handheld digital recorder does this.

then just transfer that file into the computer.

  • thanks, this is my next step in a vst.

  • hello to all,can you please explain how to turn the recordings of the gate etc.. to wave file?

i have seen vst plugs that use samples as the starting point for synthesis but how do you create wav and other type of files? thnxs

  • @musicomputer

Depends on the recording format, ofcourse, but using something like Switch soundfile converter should do the trick. However, most recording devices now days record directly into wav files, if you want to, dont they? If you allready got an answer for this and I just missed it, just ignore this.... :-)

  • that was very good and informative

  • I really feel that, even being very new to mixing and sampling, I could easily figure it out watching these videos. Expertly done by someone who not only KNOWS what he's doing...he can TEACH. And with a nice speaking voice. I'm now able to look at a robust program like Alchemy as a viable option for a novice like me...thanks to these well done tutorials.

  • neato, very well done.

  • Thank you, good job. Nicely done.

Hope, you will add some more ;-)

  • Totally cool. =)
