I'm for abortion. As long as the abortion is carried out earlier during the pregnancy, I see it as a choice of women. However I do see problems associated in performing abortion after 3-4th month. At that point, it is ideal to raise the child and if the situation is difficult, to adopt the child.

However when the matter goes about stem-cell research, I support the research a 100%, and do set existing human life as a priority over a few dividing cell particles.

I suffered 7 miscarriages, but my first child died from abortion. I did not have a choice. I KNOW there is a vast difference between a miscarriage and an abortion. You should get your stats straight. Almost 1/3 of women who have an abortion suffer from severe depression and/or contemplate suicide after having an abortion. I guess that would imply that 1/3 of women who have abortions also have a conscience.

Abortion is unfortunately a choice in the US today, but it shouldn't be. A woman may have the right to do whatever she wants to herself, but an embryo/fetus is a separate life. They have their own DNA, and therefore are not part of the mother.

Medicine origanlly came from plants and other natural materials so therefore it would be natural. The only time it is unnatural is when medicine is misused or does unneccesary harm to the body, such as the morning after pill. Abortion is never neccesary.

There are such things as natural abortions, when a woman's body knows it does not have the means to support a pregnancy it eliminates it. As a society that has concerns beyond those of nature, we simply know that "supporting a pregnancy" is much more than nutrition and health (the concerns of body). This is just like natural healing, we have an immune system that is pretty efficient, when it doesn't do the job we need it to, we intervene. I see no difference between abortions and antibiotics.

However, someone cutting your head off with an ax is not a natural cause of death because a person caused it to happen, which is the same thing with an abortion; the abortionist sticks a probe in there and sucks the fetus apart.
