The ball spins sideways when I hit with one hand. I canot stop it frome spinnig sideways. What am I doing wrong?

@snookylover most likely your point of contact is not far enough out in front of your body. you are probably also making contact with your torso not turned enough (shoulders are probably facing the net too much) of course i cant see your form so its only a guess, but i have found that with forehands and backhands when there is sidespin and not intended most likely hitting late.
