  • very nice! you're a good 3d designer

  • They should make an ElderScrolls style Zelda game!

  • @blasterman9 That would be one of the most epic things ever made!

  • This would be awesome in a remake..

    Unless it were tp style.

If you were trying to make it more realistic , I would go with a narrower door.

When the maps were designed , I think the team working on zelda made the doors only that wide so the characters can fit in.

If you keep it original , that's also fine with me.

  • @alexross8 damn really late reply but this was my first attempt with anything 3d, my objective was to keep it all as close to the original scale they had but make it more realistic at the same time, i felt if i made everything realistic you wouldnt even be able to tell it was from the game, it would just look like a 3d house i made

  • @alexross8 Game is comming sooonnnnnnnnnnnnn offical to 3ds

  • I'm considering making a 2D to 3D clone of a classic top down game. This is on my list along with Metal Gear for MSX

  • Sweet, let's remake battletoads now...seriously tho.

  • all that work for only 285 views ¬.¬ hum...

  • "Its kind of like pouring more cerial in your milk after you've finished" liked that one xD Gonna start right away with some tutorials, im also gonna subscribe to you :) hope you add more zelda animations :D

  • Nice, does it take long time to be able to create something like this with 3ds max? Im haven't even started yet :) 5/5

  • Well if your just starting out it could take you a good minute to do something like that, if you have a crap computer like i do also it could take a little longer =/

This was actually one of the first things I've come close to completing with max and the more I learn the more i want to expand on this house. Its kind of like pouring more cerial in your milk after you've finished and now I want to actually start all over because I could have done allot better after the things I've learned.

  • oh and as to how long it would take, it depends really because its all about how fast you obtain the knowledge I guess.. you can do some crunching and complete 100 tutorials in 2 weeks. I think the most important thing though has just been learning what bump, diffuse, specular, alpha, displacement, etc.. maps were after you learn how to use all those its more of an art then a science because you can mix it all up. Just do some tutorials and you'l be set =)

  • are you going to totally remake the game in 3d?

  • Awesome

  • thanks i'm glad you like it )
