  • bravo!!!

the first tune is a "balet" , there are a lot of "balets",normally they are played after the curenta or tresso or other tunes for the dancer in val varaita... evry tunes ends with a long note and then starts the "balet"..then there are other kinds of balets from other piedmonteis valleys and so for the curentas wich is not only occitan but also a piedmonteis dance, different from valley to valley...but is sucha long story!anyway nice tunes!glad that even italian folk is gettin popular

  • If you want i play in a Italian folk music band. This music is a curenta occitana. This music was born in middle age in provence and arrived in the north west of Italy whit some magister menestrello. If you want i can prove to send you this music.

  • You should get a real Acadian! Nice sound though on the thing you have.

  • wow!

  • Nice Melodeon. What make is it?

  • It was made by Zero Sette (in Castelfidardo, Italy). As far as I understand, the original design was by Marc Savoy (hence the "Acadian" trademark).

  • Très bien joué

  • Nice box playing there, Andrew.
