@f0cusen while it's true that the force tiger used to kind of snap the left knee through impact possibly did some damage, the reasons tiger left butch were way beyond that, no matter what tiger says publicly. his golf swing between late 1999-2002 was as close to perfect as anyone is history. Unfortunately, his decision to leave butch and this golf swing, for hank haney no less, will go down as one of the stupidest decisions in sports history.
@thestuvylives There is no such thingas a "perfect golfswing" and maybe there were other reasons involved but the knee thing was one of 'em and yeaaah tiger did not win anything with haney really stupid decision right?
And butch swing was not perfect the takeaway well above the shaftplane then laying it off at the top.
@f0cusen it was a stupid decision, tiger lost 2 entire seasons (2003-2004) in the prime of his career to totally overhaul something that didnt need to be changed. He won with hank DESPITE hank, tiger is the greatest of all time and his ability to win, and mental focus, is what allowed him to keep winning even despite a flawed golf swing. It also took time for haney to ruin him, as eventually his swing deteriorated to the point of no return, which hes trying to get out of now.
lol no way that is martin kaymer... he swings with a stack and tilt type of action.

@cldavail I don't think it was so much the swing. yeah it was great but look at the way he putted during that year. Drained just about everything.
