Dude, MissKelly, just because people aren't Christians doesn't mean that they don't understand. I'm sure that 2k has a lot more knowledge about the bible then you do. I get that you're trying to get more people to come to God, but you really can do it in a better manner. In order to get more people into Christianity, you have to know your own religion well enough that you can defend yourself in an arguement such as this. What some people don't get is that religion is a thing about faith.
I really grew up in a Christian family, and that's all I basically knew, so my faith was well established. When there's an arguement between religion and logic, logic most of the time wins, because our minds want to believe the things that make sense. But sometimes you just gotta have some faith you know? As i was saying, "incest" has existed after the Flood as well, but as the Law became more known, people became wiser and was able to recognize right from wrong.
And that's where we are today. We are in a culture that does not accept "incest", "murder", "adultery", "abuse", "discrimination".. etc.. because of the wisdom and experiences that have been gathered during the past milleniums.

Another example, in a world with no laws, there is no such a thing as right or wrong. yet the law existed but no one knew of its existence, and thus incest, murder, theft, and adultery was common and seen as right back then.

If John 3:16 is true, then why did God send his son to a small community of Hebrew Jews in the eastern region of the Mediterranean?
What about the vast populations of Northern Europe, China, India, Meso-America? Didn't they deserve to know his son too? How long is it supposed to take for the word of Jesus to spread to these populations? It has already been 2000 years and still 60-70% of the world doesn't believe in Jesus. Since the Jews rejected Christ, He offered salvation to everyone else. So in appreciation for saving us, we worship the Lord.

Dude, MissKelly, just because people aren't Christians doesn't mean that they don't understand. I'm sure that 2k has a lot more knowledge about the bible then you do. I get that you're trying to get more people to come to God, but you really can do it in a better manner. In order to get more people into Christianity, you have to know your own religion well enough that you can defend yourself in an arguement such as this. What some people don't get is that religion is a thing about faith.

When there's an arguement between religion and logic, logic most of the time wins, because our minds want to believe the things that make sense. But sometimes you just gotta have some faith you know? Allah is Arab and means God. Nothing more, nothing less. Christian arabs worship using the name Allah.

@allysax1 i cant believe you would say such things. i'm christian and my best friend is muslim, but here's waht ive found. God transcends labels. it doesnt matter what you call Him. And have you ever realized God loves EVERYONE? He doesn't discriminate or favor anyone, so you calling Him God verses someone else calling Him Allah, does not make you bettter in His eyes. And God is not "yours." He welcomes everyone. He also wants you to love everyone. I hope you are more careful with what you say.

The variation is in the prophets. Christians believe in Jesus, Jews do not. Amen!!! God is beyond words! His love is unfair! We dont deserve it and yet he still pours his love for us! Its amazing, something we cant understand. Im just thankful that God loves us no matter what. Its a wonderful thing if you think about it. WOW what a great God!

they dont believe in the devil, they believe in themselves and their own testimony, which is what the devil wants them to believe, that you dont need God and can do just fine on your own. That is what you would call pride, if you want to get close to God the own selfish pride of yourself is the first thing that has to go, because NONE of us are worthy to be with God, but he loved us so much that he sent his only son to die on the cross and recieve an unfair death and trial for our sake.

God is real. and for me He is more than just real. He is the very essence why people are living. He is simply God, and you could just imagine how amazing it is. =) He is the meaning of everything. I Love Him and I continue to praise Him.
This is Faith. and everyone must respect that. there's no point of debating. it's a matter of Faith. the Thing that keeps most people moving and finding their purpose. and I'm happy im living my life with Faith. =)
