One of several fond memories involving cameo appearances by 'non-Sesame' cartoon characters! The others during the 1970's, of course, were Batman/Robin, Beetle Bailey, and Jughead.
I haven't seen this in years. It was always cool how Sesame Street had cameos like Superman, Batman & Robin, Jughead and of course, the pink one himself.
Used to see funny how they used to snuck in familiar characters like the Pink Pantehr in these little cameo moments on a PBS program back then. Nowadays I only wish they were showing these classics there anyway. :-)
Warner Bros' DVD collections of Sesame Street don't have the rights to this.

Wow, a panther that knows karate could rip you to shreds while pulling a Chuck Norris on you! What a way to go!
I've always loved Pink's cameos on various shows, commercials and movies as well as his own cartoons. Love the Mancini music too! Great clip!
