no its just having something up your nose and it might trigger your gag reflex but you will be fine lol and believe me thats the worst of your fears in school.
hi everyone! well I'm hoping to enlist as either health care specialist or mp (preferably health care specialist); the only parts of the ASVAB I'm worried about are the mechanical and electrical sections, but do those really affect whether or not I would be able to be a medic?
@aeroflying probably the best kind of medic there is in my opinion. one who is out on the front lines with the combat arms guys saving their lives when the shit hits the fan. both the combat arms and combat medic have very difficult jobs.. having to save a life under pressure at times wehther it be returning fire or giving life saving aid.
Nothing worth doing is ever easy. It is the most rewarding job I could ever hope for. Saving someones life is the best feeling in the world. Once you get that feeling you will want to be the best medic there is.
Well how much of the Army is Combat Arms/Infantry? A majority of medics aren't line medics. If you want to be a line medic the only way you can make sure it happens is to go be a Ranger Medic or an 18D. Otherwise it is the luck of the draw.
@davidblack9071 unless you go National Guard....Then you will know the exact unit you are in. In my Case i just signed as a 68W three months ago but havent gone to AIT or basic yet, but i know im attached to a platoon in Delta Co. 2/127 infantry. Also since im already an EMT i signed as an E-4 and skip 8 weeks of AIT
I second that. The day I saved my father life I knew exactly what I want to do with my life. And whats better then saving the lives of the people that risk theirs for us. 68W HOOAH!
i really want to join the army ... but i started skool ... wats hard .. cus im a really chubby girl and im am geting my ass to lose this wieght so that i will be able to leav ... is it hard.. for me then

Were you ever a holdover in E Co? Are you about 5'6", with dark hair. Do you do an excellent impression of a methed-out redneck auctioneer?
