Glad you liked it. JTAC Hill is just over the bridge (southern side) and about 100m to the south. It doesnt really look like a hill on google / flash earth, more like a mini fort.
Hey man, liking the vid. Read a book there by a Capt. Doug Beattie MC, 1 R IRISH called "An Ordinary Soldier". Cracking book and really gives a sense of what's going on there I reckon. He even mentions F18s dropping ordnance on these co-ordinates:
41RPQ93124476 and 41RPQ94494482. At any rate they point to positions on Google Maps at:
30.7682473,64.1422457 and 30.7682888,64.1436777. Where on that map is JTAC Hill? It should be to the North no?
Obviously another wanker mouthing off like he knows what he's on about. Have you actually been on JTAC?
The area was known as 'no mans land', but also as the GREEN ZONE because of all the fields of corn that were there ie. green / agricultural land. You are obviously confused by the use of 'green zone', used all over Afghan/Iraq to show specific areas.
I think 'FUCK OFF' was a bit stupid to start. Didn't get off on the best foot did you? Maybe you should FUCK OFF until you calm down a bit.
how the fuck would you know if it was a taliban bullet or not u knob. the lad on the gpmg said it was and he should know he was there. dickheads like u always trying to put others down. ive been on jtac and know what its like. so mike893398 u are a twat
How effective is the GPMG in afghan? Would it be better if it had an optical sight?

@Louisthefish23 very effective, suppose an optical sight wouldn't do it any harm.... fires a 7.62mm round with a range of about 800m.
