  • Lol, that look on Bugs face when she lowers the carrot is priceless. XD

  • "Magic mirror on the wall, who is the ugliest one of all?"

    "Rowr rowr."

  • Why did she have so many hairpins?

  • 6:34 DAMN RIGHT!

  • 5:31 - Bugs with the 'puppy' eyes.

  • 5:32 BUGS IS PULLING A 'PUSS IN BOOTS' LOL

  • Comment removed

  • This is my absolute favorite Bugs cartoon! That face bugs makes @5:32 always gets me lol!

  • Back in the days when 'broomstick' was still a hyphenated word.

  • why does witch hazel keep laughing about stuff that isnt funny?

  • @rocksoliddude1 Becase she is a mental witch....isnt that obvious

  • @rocksoliddude1 She is absolutely hysterical, by far one of my favorite Looney Tunes villains. Bugs Bunny rocks!

  • @rocksoliddude1

It *IS* funny. They are puns and plays on words. You're just too dense to get the jokes.

  • where can I get some of that potion to take off these last few pounds?

  • Why is she always leaving behind hairpins?

  • @smg7320 I guess they just keep falling out of her hair

  • @smg7320 Chuck Jones was making a joke at cheap animation houses who would draw little spaghetti images. He said that should they leave something behind, it should be something interesting, like hairpins or hoofprints.

  • and that's how bewitched started.

  • One of my favorites! Quotable for all occasions.

  • One of my favorite cartoons

  • Danged funny, even after all these years.

  • 5:30 Now we know where Puss In Boots got the idea...

  • 1:01

    GAH!

Well I guess now I know what's gonna chase me in my nightmares for a few days.

  • Loved Bugs' reaction at 5:34.... "you remind me of Paul!"

  • I love Witch Hazel!!!!

  • Muzzie mirror on the wall ... never trust a muzzie in the mirror.

  • "but she was somebody's baby once"

  • WOW even Bugs saw that he had to call someone to help ol girl out- that Jinn had the only evil rape-grin on his face!!!! Yeah she's gonna be found chained up naked in the magic mirror on the wall!!!! ROFL

  • @rheem1975

ahahahahahahhaahhahahahahaha is that not true?! XD

  • @rheem1975

The Jinn is a Muslim ... look at the moon symbol on his towlie ... of course he's gonna want to rape poor Witch Hazel.

  • @nightowl8936 Who told you the moon was the symbol for Islam friend? Someone sure spend a fortune to make a serious monkey out of you.

  • @Honeyandmilk100

My eyes told me that the moon was the symbol for Islam. Try opening yours sometime and look at the flags of muzzie majority countries, and you'll see the dark side of the moon.

Honeyandmilk100 ... it's time to smell the coffee!! Hahah!!

  • @nightowl8936 Really? I did notice that there are Muslim countries like Indonesia, Egypt and Jordan not having the symbol of the moon. My eyes are open friend. The real question is are your's? Never judge anything by appearance and generalize them for that.

  • @nightowl8936 Also Saudi Arabia is where the religion of Islam originated and it's flag does not even have a crescent or a star. Why is that? Oh that's right maybe because our religion is not associated with that. Even if it is a crescent or a moon so what? We that every day don't we? So what's the big deal? Also worshipping the moon or the stars, what God Himself made, is strictly forbidden in the Holy Quran. Don't just see stuff but read it as well.

  • @Honeyandmilk100

So you're back again? Everyone with a half-a-brain associates the cresent moon with islam. So that genie grabbing at the beautiful witch is typical muzzie behaviour. So grasping an ungracious, muzzie men.

Listen, if you are a muzzie girl, try a kaffir sometime. You'll find they won't grab at you like that genie did. And instead of flying carpets, non-muzzies will actually munch carpet if you're nice and hygenic.

  • @nightowl8936 So what you see in a cartoon of how a genie is portrayed is supposed to be associated with Muslim behaviour? Wow! you're a fine example of a typical brain washed fool who'll even believe the world is being invaded by killer tomatoes cause you saw it on TV. Don't make me laugh. If you really wanna know how the world or even Islam is like go outside of your house and try to see the world with your own eyes and not the eyes of the idiot box you call TV.

  • @Honeyandmilk100

You again? Come on girl. Lose the burqa, try to see through the layers of clothing and deceit. Don't try to tell me the hundreds and hundreds of blogs, videos, and websites as well as the Shafia trial in Canada, where they drowned 3 daughters and the first wife for "honor" are all "just a simple misunderstanding" of Islam. They even appealed the conviction instead of taking their honor with them to jail for the next 25 years. Howz that for muslim backbone? Get a clue, girl.

  • @nightowl8936 First of all I am a man, 24 yrs. 2nd killing for the sake of honor is forbidden in the Holy Quran as it says in Surah 5:32 For that cause We decreed for the Children of Israel that whosoever killeth a human being for other than manslaughter or corruption in the earth, it shall be as if he had killed all mankind. 3rd if you think 1 action makes these people Muslim you are suffering from a psychological disorder of over generalization. Read and find out yourself.

  • @nightowl8936 One more thing, making accusations against Islam without even consulting the Holy Quran is an act of deception and presenting conjecture instead of fact. This is also illegal. Muslim backbone? HA! You are hopelessly lost without real knowledge friend. You want to know everything about Muslims, then read the Holy Quran and open your eyes to the truth.

  • @Honeyandmilk100

"without even consulting the Holy Quran" - are you for real? What you are doing is an act of taqquia. "this is also illegal" - this is islamic lawfare; when i last looked, we have free speech, not sharia. its also one more reason muzzie countries are so backwards. I was going to say that you're a lost cause. one last bit of advice. if you don't like america, then you can get the hell out, and go back where you came from.

  • @nightowl8936 Free Speech? What does that have anything to do with law and order? Unless you're implying there isn't. If so then it's no wonder the world has gone mad because there's no order but chaos in which people can do whatever they feel like without anyone telling them it's right or wrong. 1 more thing the word taqqyia is actually used by the Shias (Non-Muslims). Start looking for your own answers friend and open your mind instead of listening to liars who never read about Islam at all.

  • @rheem1975

The evil-rape grin ... of the Jinn .. is a muzzie muslim thing. Thats how they treat women in general.

  • How are all these cartoons on youtube? Warner Bros is still selling them on DVD; aren't they still under copyright??

  • Wow! Witch Hazel transforms into Christina Hendricks' character from Mad Men.

  • What a perfectly clean print!

  • "She may not be very pretty now, but she was somebody's baby once."

  • Watching this at 6 i thought nothing but now i all i telling myself is she is about to get rape

  • I love how witch Hazel seems to have an unlimited supply of hairpins to lose :D

  • @123ikickyourass i think it means , SHEs and OLD HAGG

  • 6:38 RAAAAAAAAAPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • hi ho fliber awaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!!!!!!!

  • whats the name of the song playing at 1:40?

  • @mostextreeme It's not a real song, just a tune Carl Stallings invented for that moment.

  • that was sharp enough to split a hair, split a hare lol

  • crazy me that was my sweeping broom lol

  • a cup of tee-ee, a cookie and you! My all time favorite! Thanks for posting!!!!!!!

  • What's up with that cat at 1:00?

  • I love Bugs's disengenuous cuteness. Those pleading eyes - who could kill him?

  • Ya know, I shall always wonder howmany hairpins old Hazel has in that mop of hers.

  • I can't help but think that the hot chick that Witch Hazel becomes is sort of an homage to 'The Girl', featured in Tex Avery's MGM cartoons of the 1940's . . .

  • Paris Hilton is a few years

  • "She may not be very pretty now, but she was somebody's baby once" Best line.

  • "Crazy me, that was my sweeping broom! *giggles*"

  • @Opium1958 Or I mean 5:37

  • love her cat lol!

  • @southernelle Oh me too! So cute!

  • One of the finest cartoons of all time. A must play on holloween.

  • i love witch hazels laugh!!

  • holy macaroni, lol, the witch is very pretty, and i am a girl lol. (its at the end)

  • 5:39 So THATS where puss in boots got it from.

  • Junie's "Witch Hazel"is changed from an evil old hag..into a beautiful young flying sorceress here..In the words of the homely old genini in that magic mirror"Growl Growl!"(LOL!).

  • These cartoons weren't just made for the kids. In the opening scene, a union membership is shown where Witch Hazel is a member of a union that is a part of the "A.F. of Elves".

That's a direct shot at the American Federation of Labor, then referred to as the "A.F. of L." just before its merger with the Congress of Industrial Organizations to become today's AFL-CIO.

  • i love the bobby pins

  • I always loved the style of art that was used for the background of this episode.

  • Originally released in February 1956.

    5:31 {Charlie Dog in "Often an Orphan"- "'Big soulful eyes' routine...gets 'em every time"}

6:22- Modeled after June Foray and Chuck Jones' wife Dorothy...

  • lol i love Witch Hazels laugh :) EH HE HE HE HE HE HE!!!!!

  • The Witches voice is done by June Foray. She also does the voice of Granny. Also does the voice of Rocky the flying squirrel and Natasha.

  • June Foray is the voice of Witch Hazel. Has been in all but one of her cartoons.

  • Comment removed

  • @TzeffNL actually the voice actor for witch hazel is June Foray who was the female equivalent of Mel Blanc, the voice of Bugs Bunny.

  • @SocratesTheGadfly Yeah...I guess Zsa Zsa was in another one...

  • @TzeffNL actually the zsa zsa gabor myth began when Chuck Jones ( the director ) referred to witch hazel as something of an overweight zsa zsa gabor and it has persisted to this day. zsa zsa gabor never did any voice acting for warner brother cartoons. however, June Foray did imitate her style of speech for many of her characters. June Foray also did the voice of Cindy Lou Who in the animated Grinch Who Stole Christmas cartoon of the 1960s

  • What The Jeanie Should Have Done Was Take It Nice And Slow, Instead Of Grabbing Her.

  • The witch turned out to be a hot looking chick. I don't blame the Jeannie for jumping out of the mirror and going after her.

  • @yocuzz100

Hell yeah she became hot lol. I would have done the same.

  • @yocuzz100 I'd hit that!

  • @yocuzz100

    ahahah u know!? XD

like for serious i would have LOVED to have her body so long as guys was comin aftr me like he did XD

  • @yocuzz100 she looks like her voice actor there, another cartoon for my blog

  • @yocuzz100

The Genie is a muslim towel head taliban type. Look at the moon symbol on his raghead turban. Damn muzzies always want white women.

  • I love that witch. She's funny.

  • 5:31

Bugs Bunny in his new starring role as Puss in Boots

  • I love this episode
