@Louiseiddon Thanks! Honestly, we did this very slowly with little planning and a $20 budget... We moved the playmobile people and shot it with a digital video camera. We shot each frame moving (not stills) and edited it with imovie.

Stop motion is done by making the film one frame at a time, meaning you take a picture, make a small change, take another, etc. until you finish. It's really hard to do and takes a lot of patience, especially if you're using objects that easily fall over (like Playmobil guys ;P).
