I am surprised someone recognizes "Protecting My Devotion" as one of their favorites. The slower and original version, "Loss of Me" was actually the first song in the game where I realized, dude..this guy's music is awesome! (mind you my first FF game was actually IX :P ) Kudos to you! I also loved "attack" for FFX as well :)

@RoselynDubh Yeah, it used to be one of my favourite scenes of the game so I always remembered the music that played there. Same with FFX as well. The whole wedding thing from the airship was one of my favourite scenes so again, the music stuck with me. :D

BY THE WAY! Of all the top FF music lists I've seen, I've NEVER seen Assault from FFX chosen! Great choice for your number 6, it would be my number 1, it also accompanied the greatest CG in the game as they grinded down the airship cables into Bevelle.

Yo, Still Fighting, I'm a let you finish, but Search For Friends was one of the greatest pieces of Final Fantasy Music of all time! ALL TIME! But seriously, I love search for friends, I think it's underrated.

I think IX might have the best soundtrack, the melodies in all those songs are just spectacular, but X comes close too..............basically from 1997-2001 Uematsu kicked some serious ass in music!

Simply put it. Zidane...I love Zidane. He spends the whole time being a heroic goody two shoes pleb and then this one moment he no longer gives a fuck. He woulda probably killed his pals if they got in the way :)

I wasn't gonna comment but since you asked I will. Your track selection was hit & miss with me & I never did play FF10. Still, they're your favorites & no one can tell you you're wrong to like them. I didn't like them all (especially Laguna's fight music) but there were some in there that just hit me in the gut & loosed all those memories I had while playing these awesome games! The Airship Theme for FF6 was the biggest! The way the song went was coming to me as I listened & whistled along! Thnx
