  • Love, love, love Eve Arden!

  • I believe the fifth season on radio, and first season on t.v. was the only time the series was on both. Mr. Boyington (not sure on that spelling?) was played on the radio by Jeff Chandler. Even though he was well liked and enjoyed the role it was felt physically he was not right for the shy bookish part.Though I think it would have been an interesting contrast and he certainly would have been a treat for the women who watched. :)!

  • How about posting the entire episode?

  • This episode orignally aired on November 25, 1955, during the final season {"OUR MISS BROOKS" occasionally had "improbable" dream sequences in their plots}. Hy Averback was also the series' RADIO announcer at the time (yes, Eve and the cast appeared in separate radio [Sunday nights] AND TV [Friday nights] episodes- most of the radio scripts were eventually adapted for TV).

  • This is classic - they don't make em' like they used to...The Maharaja is brilliant!!

  • i love eve arden; too..she was smart, funny, pretty and very talented! she was way ahead of her time..i'm hunting down every episode i can find...
