i start up TOR, but then i get a 504 error on firefox, and nothing loads if i type it in. i don't live in the USA, and the website is blocked, but i got it from a proxy. is there a reason i get 504 error?

I'm trying to use Tor on my mac but it doesn't start up Firefox automatically when I start it up. I am using a Mac and I have already downlaoded Firefox and even the Torbutton from firefox thinking that was the problem. Do I have to use Firefox portable or what should I use for a Mac?

I am not sure about the mac version but in the windows version of TOR it comes with portable firefox that directly integrates with the TOR client.

@QuackWare I'm having the same problem on Windows. It does come bundled with Firefox portable, but this isn't started.
